The hospital and nursing home industry are in many cases the key
contributors in elections, donating 35 million to
the federal candidates and political parties of the 2012 presidential election.
After the Affordable Health Care Act, president
Obama and democrats overall were the sole
cause for a shift in the health care industry’s political preference. In the
past three elections democrats have received more contributions from a wide
variety of health care institutions than republicans since the late 90's. Although
I haven’t found any solid information confirming that Silverado memory care
contributes, I believe that they do, it seems to me that any one benefiting from
this law should favor the democratic party even if they don't favor president Obama and Silverado is no different, although they are
a private entity, they still receive funding from the government for their
patients.
